Apple has notified all iOS developers about their plans for resetting all iTunes Match accounts today. But if they do so and you are among those early adopters, you should do well if you decide to backup your iOS device. Backing up your data is always a smart move whenever you do some mayor change on your device, no matter what the change is about. This is just in case something goes wrong and you need to restore your device completely. If you have your backup safe and ready then there is no need to worry at all. If not, well, your data can disappear into the big blue of data heavens.
