Cupertino has made available a brand new homepage for the new iTunes Match service. This new Apple website contains a wide with a short walk trough on this new, cloud based service.

Samsung mocks iPhone 4S in a new ad

Samsung is continuing its ad campaign against Apple and their latest device iPhone 4S. In the ad, a person goes near a long line of iPhone 4S fans waiting to get their new devices, and explains them that Samsung already offers better, 4G capable devices. At the same time Apple fans in the line worry about the 4G issue on their new devices. It seems that Samsung is having good time with such adds, no matter that latest researches clearly show that iPhone 4S is the most popular smartphone device ever. Is Samsung really challenging Apple or is the South Korean company just displaying their hidden insecurity?

New Apple ad for iPod Touch released

Apple has launched another nice looking ad. This time they wanted to promote latest iPod Touch model. The theme of the ad is: ‘Share the Fun’. iPod Touch is a device clearly designated for having fun and playing games and the add puts a heavy accent on that aspects of the device. You can see young people using Face Time, tweeting, iMessage texting, playing games and much more. Just as it is in the real life.

iPad 2 jailbreak proof

iPad 2 which was launched earlier this year has proved itself as a hard nut to crack. It was the device which took longest time to be jailbroken so far. If you are a frequent visitor on our blog you will know that it was first jailbroken back when iOS 4.3.3 was latest iOS version. So far iPad 2 on iOS 5 was not cracked by the jailbreak community. That is, until now. This great news came directly from a member of iPhone Dev Team @MuslceNerd who tweeted about and mentioned a new Youtube video where he showed the jailbreak in action. He noted that no ETA is known so far as the jailbreak is obviously still being in development phase at the time being.

Nobody is sure what happened really with this video as it was uploaded and then removed. Luckily for us, it seems that somebody downloaded the video and later shared it with the Youtube audience. If this is indeed a new version of Skype for iPad it really looks splendid as you can see for yourself in the video bellow. Video calls, Wi-Fi or 3G based calling, whole screen video, impressive graphic resolution, clean user interface and so on. Seems that this time they have made it fabulously, just as the iPad platform deserves. Who knows perhaps Microsoft with their recent purchase of Skype is pushing its boundaries in an effort to make a strong intrusion into Apple dominated world of iPad apps?

Vimeo, a new iPhone app for online video watching and sharing

If you know something about online video you have probably heard about Vimeo, which is a widely popular video sharing website similar to Youtube. Vimeo is now available to all iPhone and iPad users as an app in iTunes app store. With Vimeo app you will be able to watch browse and search different video content. Beside watching videos you will also be able to upload your own video content to the website. But that is not all.
