iPhone tips: how to change the name of your device

Did you ever wonder how did you friend change the name of his iPhone or iPad but you were to embarrassed to ask? You are probably aware that you can give the name to the device when you set it up with iTunes for the first time. But how can you change that later, perhaps you have bought an used iPhone, or you just decide you would like to rename it to something more interesting? Yes, you can do this and even better it is not really complicated.

Here is what you need to do:
- Before you begin you must connect your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or Windows computer.
- Start iTunes.
- Locate your device in the side bar on the left hand side of the screen. Your device will appear as soon as you connect it to your computer.
- Now simply click on the device name and you will be able to edit it.

When done click on the sync option which you will see on the bottom right hand side of the screen. You are done!
