Apple offers a free game download, get Bejeweled for free!
It seems that somebody in Apple is recently feeling quite generously. Apple was recently giving away a number of free games like the ‘Where is my Water’ game, and now Tim Cook and his team are again feeling generously so they have decided to offer gifts for iPhone and iPad users who ‘like’ Apple’s Facebook page.
If you didn’t play Bejeweled earlier and you think you would enjoy this game, simply visit Apple’s Facebook page and like it. After you ‘Like’ it follow the link ‘Get Your Free App’. The price of Bejeweled is otherwise not too high at $0.99. Still a gift is a gift, and who does nto enjoy in a gift however small it appears to be?
Grand Theft Auto available for iPhone and iPad!
One of the most productive gaming companies out there, Rockstar Games has released the superb Grand Theft Auto game for iOS devices including iPhone and iPad. This release comes at the tenth anniversary of this epic action driving game. This game was originally made for Sony’s gaming console PS2. If you decide you would like to try out this classic on your iPad or iPhone you can head over to Apple’s app store and get it for the cost of $4.99.
iOS gaming by Microsoft: “Kinectimals”
Microsoft has being really busy last couple of weeks, as they released a number of various app’s for iOS. Now they venture even further into the iOS world: they want to work their way into the iPhone and iPad gaming world. Kinectimals is a game meant to be played by children primarily and is about interaction with animals in the virtual world. It was first released for Microsoft’s own Xbox console which successfully used the famous Kinect gaming system.
Angry Birds 2.0 launched!
Rovio has prepared another release of their highly popular Angry Birds game. This time iOS gamers will have the chance to enjoy in all levels as every single episode is now unlocked. As an additional teaser, Rovio has introduced 15 completely new birthday cake themed game levels. As always Angry Birds are in jeopardy. You must fought the evil pigs who are responsible for stealing Angry Birds eggs. You will need to use different powers of every single bird to successfully overwhelm the greedy pig enemy. New Zombie themed game now in app store: ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies’
Activision, the company which is best known by their Call of Duty games, has released a sequel to their previous game ‘ Call of Duty: Zombies’. The new iOS version of this game looks almost the same as on other gaming platforms like PC and gaming consoles.
The game itself has a number of same or simlar looking levels with the difference that you can customize the game in larger extent. You can enjoy in this game with as many as three friends at the same time. The game is specially developed for touch screen environment, and offers various maps and weapon systems never available before. You can now enjoy in more than 50 levels of the game which will offer you a lot o fun multiplayer gaming fun.
Apple has banned Carrier IQ from iOS 5
After recently published finding by a security consultant Trevor Eckhart, which said that Carrier IQ acts or can act as a rootkit, Apple has issued a statement regrading this issue. Cupertino company states that they have stopped supporting this software with the new iOS 5, and they want to completely remove it from iOS in the next upgrade of the firmware. Apple is not a company which would gather any private data from their users. In fact to get access to any information, you need to allow it personally within iOS settings, and if you agree to share your data, those informations are not personal. Apple has never and will never use keylogging apps of any kind. All data sent from your iPhone or iPad is encrypted and completely anonymous.

Infinity Blade 2 is a brilliant new game for iPhone. It definitely represents a large improvement over the original game, because of many new layers in the game environment and different new characters.
At the beginning of the game you will enjoy in a peaceful scene of an oriental garden with a beautifully fountain containing gold fishes. But don’t relax yet, as cruel, iron armoured monsters are lurking from the shadows, waiting to tear you apart. Game design stays in the same style as the original game but with many new touches and amazing details. There are plenty of interesting little details where ever you look at, and your enemies are now much bigger and more complex. The game story itself makes more sense, as the game story is written by someone who obviously knows his trade. Subscription based iPad games now available
This is the first time Apple decided to allow subscription based games to enter into the app store. The first such pack of games added to app store were games made by Big Fish Games. All games in their pack became available at only $6.99 monthly. This subscription based mode of payment was officially available since last year but this is the first time some company has decided to take this route.
PowderMonkeys, a new iOS game for younger gamers
PowderMonekys is a new game released by XMG Studio compatible with iPad and iPhone and aimed mostly at the younger players.
