T-Mobile to offer iPhone support
We already know that jailbreaking is legal and perfectly safe, as it was judged to be so by US court decision. And jailbreaking movement is spreading its wings worldwide. The trend is recognized, and followed even by some courageous companies. Now it seems that T-Mobile is exploring the ground in this particular direction too. This was demonstrated by a leaked internal document from T-Mobile which is disclosing the company plan for increased support offered to users with unlocked iOS devices.
This new strategy will be implemented from February on, and it will include better and more detailed tech support for users using the network with unlocked iPhone smartphones. This support will include providing informations about usual procedures, informations about important features and any basic question a new iPhone user might have about his device and its use on T-Mobile network.
This comes as the company has taken notice about more than one million users using the network services with different iPhone models. T-Mobile is not a official iPhone carrier, but none the less, many iPhone users in US have deemed their services better than what is currently offered by some other, official networks like AT&T. Some predictions even claim the next iPhone model will be compatible with the 3G network technology used by T-Mobile. As you perhaps know, currently unlocked iPhones on US T-Mobile network can only use 2G speeds due to different band used by this carrier. Are you an iPhone owner using your device on T-Mobile? Let us know you experiences!
