Utrasn0w 1.2.5 carrier unlock updated, minor bugs removed

Most of our readers do know that UltraSn0w is quite an important Cydia app, especially so for people desperately needing an iPhone carrier unlock. We are sure many readers of our blog will be happy to hear that iPhone Dev team has just released the latest upgrade to their famous unlocking tool UltraSn0w. This upgrade removes a bug for iPhone 3GS with old bootrom.

If you are an iPhone 3GS (old bootrom) owner with and you had problems with the untethered jailbreak, you should reinstall UltrSn0w. Afterwards go to Extras – IPSW and browse to 5.0.1 firmware file. Then you’ll need only to re jailbreak the device, (without installing Cydia again). You can get UltraSn0w in Cydia app store for free. Before you can use the unlock solution, you will of course need to jailbreak your device.
