Get RedSn0w Redsn0w 0.9.10b3 for improved iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak!

Redsn0w 0.9.10b3

You have probably already heard about the latest untethered jailbreak solution developed by Pod2g and released by Chronic Team and iPhone Dev Team. Many users have already taken the chance to jailbreak their favorite iOS device. While this is the best gift for any iPhone or iPad users, as any new software it included some minor or not so minor bugs hidden in its code. So it turns out, Redsn0w 0.9.10 beta 1 and Redsn0w 0.9.10 beta 2 had some bugs which needed to be promptly solved. And this is exactly what jailbreak developers have done with the latest release of Redsn0w 0.9.10 beta 3. The main problem was that a number of users have experienced problems with the so called “launchctl” issue appearing while using some Cydia tweaks and apps.

It seems that the culprit was with Mobile Substrate, as it stopped working properly, thus causing a number of tweaks and jailbreak app’s to crash. This latest release of the jailbreak solves this issue altogether, making your jailbroken device working again in a smooth manner with all tweaks and Cydia apps working as usually.

To solve this problem on your device you can simply download the Redsn0w jailbreak for Windows or Mac and apply the new version on your existing jailbreak. Please note: you must untick the option “Install Cydia” as Cydia is already installed and doing it twice can cause problems. Hats off to people in iPhone Dev Team for this prompt upgrade! It means a lot to have a reliable jailbreak, especially for newbie jailbreakers which really need to have an easy and reliable jailbreak solution!
