iPad 2 jailbreak proof

iPad 2 which was launched earlier this year has proved itself as a hard nut to crack. It was the device which took longest time to be jailbroken so far. If you are a frequent visitor on our blog you will know that it was first jailbroken back when iOS 4.3.3 was latest iOS version. So far iPad 2 on iOS 5 was not cracked by the jailbreak community. That is, until now. This great news came directly from a member of iPhone Dev Team @MuslceNerd who tweeted about and mentioned a new Youtube video where he showed the jailbreak in action. He noted that no ETA is known so far as the jailbreak is obviously still being in development phase at the time being.

Dev Team didn’t reveal which exploit exactly was being used for the jailbreak, but as they said earlier they have five so called “userland” exploits which they wont reveal anytime soon to in order to prevent Apple from taking swift countermeasures.

As @MuscleNerd didn’t want to discuss release dates for iPad 2 jailbreak, we can only wait patiently for the group to finish their job. Knowing how efficient iPhone Dev Team is, we suspect that we wont have to wait for to long. Couple of weeks perhaps? What are your expectations, will we have iPad 2 jailbreak next month?
