New iOS exploits found, courtesy of the Chronic Dev Team

We are really glad to write about this new exiting news coming from the iOS jailbreak world. Members of the Dev Team have announced that 5 new different userland security holes have been located for iPad 2, and even better news is that this approach will probably work with the new iPhone model!

This great news has being revealed by a member of the Chronic Dev Team P0sixninja, who said this on a jailbreaking conference ‘MyGreatFest’. @P0sixninja was very positive about this when he said that both iPad 2 and iPhone 5 will be possible to jailbreak with this new userland exploits. And what is really unbelievable is that there isn’t a one or two exploits but 5 of them! And another great news is that these are userland exploits which means that they wont be easy for Apple to patch. What does this mean for us iPhone and iPad users out there? Well, it means that we’ll get an untethered jailbreak for our new iPhone 5 and iPad 2 tablet much earlier than we expected!

All credits for this great news go to Chronic Dev Team and especially to a prominent member of this jailbreak group: @ P0d2g. He and his group are responsible for such great jailbreak tools as Greenpois0n and a line of previous iOS security exploits like steaks4uce, exploits in A4 chip and others. This userland exploits will work on all devices including iPhone 5 and iPad 2. Follow our blog to get latest news as they develop, and as always: as soon as we get more informations on this we will let you know!
