Apple launches iBook for iPad, a new kind of textbooks

Apple just took another giant step into the future. This time, the relentlessly innovative fruit company from Cupertino, California is introducing iBooks textbooks to the world. This is a whole new world for education, which helps students and teachers alike to get best available and most updated textbooks from anywhere, at any time. And this is not all: besides other obvious advantages of price, mobility, adaptability, textbooks upgrading options, you can also note your textbooks, bookmark important pages and use it like never before!

Thanks to this app, books wont be only printed texts, now they will include audio and video materials. iBook for iPad now offers books from all ranges of subjects including: Math, Chemistry, Biology, History and much more. The books are at the time being, only available to iPad users located in United States. iBook is a free app available for download in Apple’s app store. If you plane to publish your own textbook you can do so with help of iBook Author. iBook Author is a Mac app, which is also available as a free download in Mac app store.
