iPhone is a real Swiss knife among tech gadgets. It is really a small yet powerful mobile computer equipped with a number of different sensors which can be used for fascinating purposes. To be honest, some of those can be quite useful while some others are almost useless. Still there are some options which can prove as quite useful in various situations. Honestly we never thought that an iPhone could be used even as a scale, but apparently we were wrong.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you urgently need to measure a small amount of some stuff, A Real Scale iPhone app is a tool which will be able to help you. This app will work on iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPod Touch 2G. To use it you need to put the substance you are weighting on the screen of your device. It can measure anywhere from 40 grams up to 200 grams of wight, and according to various online reports it is more or less accurate depending on your device. The important thing is that it works much better after you manually calibrate it. You can also use the automatic calibration feature, but it it does not produce the best results.
