iOS 5 jailbreak tweaks: CallTell

Jailbreak tweaks and apps are the essence of jailbreaking, and the biggest reason for any iPhone or iPad user to jailbreak their device. Some jailbreak tweaks are essential and practical, others are rather useless or of cosmetic nature only. CallTell is a tweak which falls somewhere between these two opposites, as it isn’t something you couldn’t live without but in some particular situations it could become very useful to you.

CallTell is a tweak developed by Tyler Calderone. This tweak will show you the name of the person who is calling you. This will enable you to quickly decide whether the call is important to you or not so you are spared of the effort to check the number on your iPhone. You can customize the tweak so it caters for your specific purposes in a way which is best for you. As with many such small tweaks, when you download and install this tweak, it wont create another icon on your Springboard. If you want to customize it you need to use the standard iOS settings app.

CallTell isn’t particularly a new tweak, but we think it is useful to remind you to this app since it was updated to work with iOS 5. We think this tweak is a good one to have and the price is also acceptable as it costs only $1.99. You can grab it from Cydia app store, where it is available in the BigBoss repository. Enjoy and let us know did you enjoy this small jailbreak tweak!
