Apple to held Media event in New York later this month

Apple store

Sources inside Apple have leaked plans about some small scale media event which should be held in New York at the end of this month. Could this mean that iPad 3 tablet announcement is near? Or will Tim Cook and his crew use this opportunity to announce some other mayor step like a new iOS version or perhaps the rumored Apple TV set? Nobody knows for sure, although Apple has never missed the opportunity to point the public attention to some new interesting developments whenever possible. So while it is certain that this event will be media oriented, it could also become an opportunity projecting new trends for upcoming Apple products and services.

According to the rumors, the person which will be the star of the event is Eddy Cue, Apple’s Vice President of Internet Software and Services. To explain his position better, he is the person in charge for iTunes, iBooks, App Store and even Apple’s Ad Network. With this kind of influence we are sure we’ll hear some interesting stuff on media publishing on this event.

The fact that Apple chose New York instead of their traditional stronghold in Cupertino, could mean that the famous fruit company is changing some of it basic strategies. If you are following our blog you will probably know that Apple has recently launched their Grand Central Terminal Apple Store. Looks like Apple has big plans for New York.
