Chronic Dev Team soon to release jailbreak for iPad 2 and all other devices!

iPad 2 jailbreak GreenPois0n

So again we have excellent news for our readers. This time the good news are coming from the famous Chronic Dev Team. The jailbreak development group has announced on their website that a new jailbreak for iPhone and iPad with iOS 4.3.3 should be soon available. As they said in their announcement on the groups website, Greenpois0n will first jailbreak iPad 2 and then later versions of the tool will work on all other iDevices. Even better, another iPhone hacker, Joshua Hill said that this new jailbreak will work for iOS 4.3.x as well as for later iOS upgrades.

If you didn’t know already, the first prize for iPad jailbreaking goes to Comex as he was the first hacker one who had publicly demoed an jailbroken iPad 2 on a Youtube video. But after the iOS upgrade Apple has accidentally patched the exploit which was used by Comex. He said after this patch was covered that the exploit he used for jailbreaking was the same as many of us have used with the famous jailbreak.me solution.

However we are not sure why Chronic Dev team wants to release the jailbreak for iOS 4.3.3 when we already have some excellent jailbreaking tools like RedSn0w, PwnageTool and Sn0wBreeze. RedSn0w has also another advantage over Greenpois0n. RedSn0w can activate your iphone if you don’t have the original sim card needed for activation. If you need to unlock your device for use on unofficial networks you must preserve your older baseband versions. If you have an iPhone 3GS you will need to upgrade to iPad baseband and then follow up with the UltraSn0w unlock.
