iOS 5 beta released to fix for battery lifetime for iPhone 4S
Apple has publicly acknowledged the battery issue which appeared on many new iPhone 4S devices. They have also said that a task force of engineers is working on a permanent solution for this problem. According to their statement they have found a possible bug in IOS 5 which can shorten the battery lifetime and a solution for this will be available in the next iOS update which should be available to iOS 5 users in next couple of weeks.
Apple has released the beta version of this upgrade but at this moment the upgrade is available to certified Apple developers only. No outside source has so far being able to see this release, and see whether the battery life bug is really being solved or not. To remind you, almost immediately after the iPhone 4S and iOS 5 have being launched there was a constant stream of complaints about the battery life time on the new device. Curiously this battery drain happened even if the iPhone 4S was only in standby regime with all apps turned off. If you have installed iOS 5.0.1 on your iPhone 4S let us know I f this solved the problems on your device or not!
