It would be easy to conclude that Apple is a step closer to rival his mayor opponents in the cloud business Google and Amazon who have already done some mayor steps even without sealing an agreement with the representatives from the music industry like Amazon did recently.

Apple proposing a new, smaller micro SIM card
Apple is restlessly working on improving the design and engineering features of their devices. Now they are up to some new albeit small scale improvement. They are working on a new SIM car which should be significantly smaller than even the previous smallest SIM, the micro SIM fro iPhone 4. Reuters reports that Apple plans to propose the new SIM standard to whole industry. SO far micro SIM cards have been used for iPhone 4 and 3G iPad. Some of the network carriers like Orange in France and others, have already voiced their support for this proposal. This is another effort in line with constant efforts to make smaller and thiner mobile devices as smaller card reader will fit into a smaller device. According to this report Apple has already submitted this standard to European Telecommunications Standards Agency (ETSI). They have received backing for this proposal from some mayor European network carriers like Orange France. No official comment’s came from Apple nor ETSI so far on this issue.
Apple working on Sprint iPhone
There is an old joke which goes among journalists and publishers that goes somewhat like this: if media talks about something convincingly and long enough, it will eventually become true. And it turned out that this was on spot, at least regarding the increase of the list of carriers in US which became Apple partners. First it was only AT&T, then they were joined by Verizon and now we here about the possibility of Sprint becoming the next network carrier partnering with Apple.
Tim Cook, Apple’s Chief Operating Officer said earlier this year that the agreement between Apple and Verizon was not exclusive, meaning that they could be open for including Sprint and offering CDMA iPhones for their users.

Again we have a great app for your iPhone which is free and potentially quite useful. Viddy is an app that reminds on a mixture of best options available in Youtube, Instagram and Twitter. Toshiba developing a Retina display for the next iPhone
Only few months ago Apple has reached an agreement with Toshiba for investing in more than $1 billion manufacturing plant which will be solely devoted to producing displays for iPhones. The plant was expected to start rolling out new displays later this year. Today, Toshiba has released a statement on a cluster of connected technologies of which one is a 4″ high definition Retina display.
