Steve Wozniak on Apple’s future

Jobs and Wozniak

Steve Wozniak, one of the original founders of Apple, the other being late Steve Jobs, shared a bit about his worries on the future of Apple Inc. On the other side he said that it could go positive after all. But he has primarily aired his concerns about the way Apple has presented the iPhone 4S. According to him this was the first time the company talked about processors and technical details, which wasn’t something Steve Jobs would talk about.

Apple’s true vision and competence comes from the fact that they always cared about the human part of technology. How to get things done, how to find things on the Internet, this is what Apple is really about, and their strongest point. Basically Wozniak thinks that Apple is about people, not about things. One of worries he expressed in this short interview was that he is deeply worried Apple could go the way Sony went. Wozniak also mentioned his last conversation with Steve Jobs, his friend and cofounder, when Steve Jobs told him that he feels he hasn’t much time left.

Do you agree with Wozniak? How strong is Apple without Steve Jobs and his magic? Will Apple lose it’s leading position? Let us know what your opinion is. We do hope that legacy of Steve Jobs will live for a long time, and that as we have earlier reported Apple indeed has at least four years worth of ideas and products heavily influenced by Steve Jobs. One thing is sure, Apple has just lost a great leader. Will they be able to rise above this sad situation and show that Apple is bigger than Steve Jobs himself? We surely hope so.
