iOSgames: High Flyer Death Defyer

Here is another great iOS game for your iPhone or iPad: High Flyer Death Defyer. This game which comes with a such distinctive name: High Flyer Death Defyer is made by Game Mechanic Studios and offers an interesting new type of play. It is fun to play and at the first glance it looks really great. Basically it is one of those games where your character is flying around with a help of some kind of a jetpac. He has an interesting to jump from strange places and dive into the deep canyons while trying to gather as many points as possible by hitting some score rings.

Idea seems not very original, as there were many other games with similar gameplay. But there are some interesting peculiarities which make this game different from its competition. For example you will probably get a strong feel of dizziness when you jump of virtual high cliff’s. In some situations you will have to fly navigate through the skies after you jump.

One of the main issues you encounter while playing High Flyer Death Defyer, is that the game controls are not as good as they should be. And while they are not outright terrible, they still suck immensely. Somme app comments by players suggested that perhaps tilt controls could be better solution for this game. But the fact remains that the game joystick would work better from the begining if it was tuned properly. Still, High Flyer Death Defyer will offer a lot of fun especially if you are into extreme sports. It has nice graphics, interesting background story and fun game play. The game is available as a download for iPad and iPhone 4 in Apple’s App Store.
