iSHSHit Cydia app upgraded to support latest iOS 4.3.4 (GSM) and iOS 4.2.9 (CDMA)

iSHSHit is an Cydia jailbreak app which enables you to save your devices SHSH blobs. It has been upgraded to support the latest iOS 4.3.4 and iOS 4.2.9. What is the function of iSHSHit? It will save the SHSH blobs to your device or somewhere else where you will store it and use it if you ever need to downgrade or upgrade your device firmware.

One of the ways Apple is controlling iOS users is to force them to always upgrade to the latest firmware regardless if you need or want to do such a thing. For example if you have an working jailbreak and unlock and you don’t want to upgrade, you will be forced to do so if you try to restore but didn’t have saved the SHSH blobs of your iPhone or iPad. SO keep in mind this is very very important. As soon as possible use iSHSHit or some other tool like TinyUmbrella perhaps to protect yourself. If you are not sure do you have SHSH blobs saved just tap on Cydia and you will see the blobs you or someone else have saved on your device.

On the picture bellow you can see which blobs are saved for this device: 4.0, 4.0.1,4.0.2 and 4.1.

To get iSHSHit you need to jailbreak your device first. You can check our blog archives on how to jailbreak your device with RedSn0w, PwnageTools or Sn0wbreeze. When jailbroken just tap on Cydia and download and install iSHSHit. ISHSHit can be downloaded form the BigBoss repository.
