Apple releases upgrade for the Apple TV iOS

Apple has released a new upgrade for their popular A4 powered Apple TV. If you decide to upgrade the firmware on your device you can do so by navigating to Settings - General – Update and afterwards just follow the instructions.

This update is improving on variety of less important issues. This upgrade is considered as a small upgrade but inside Apple it is considered as the upgrade to iOS 4.3. Here is the list of fixes which are included with this upgrade.

- Youtube: fixing Youtube related bug where video subscriptions were not sorted by their date.
- Live upgrades: improvement with forwarding and rewinding of current content.
- Audio: fix for a bug where no sound is available with some video content.
- Audio: improvement with audio settings, switch for 16 bit audio now available.
- Movies: fix for a bug where description in some movies isn’t available.

Please note: this upgrade is not eligible for users with the older Intel powered Apple TV. Users with this model of Apple TV can upgrade past the iOS 3.0.1 since the model is not in production any more.
