Apple bans employee vacations

Apple logo

It seems that Apple has blacked out all employee vacations for two timetables which could indicate the dates of release for the upcoming iPhone 5 and the new iOS 5. First blackout dates are supposedly from October 9th up to 12th and this will probably be the release date for iOS 5, and is rumored to be held on Monday, since October 12th is Sunday. Another rumor has also pointed out that Apple Care centers have been instructed to prepare for large increase of customer support calls during the same day.

Second set of dates should be from October 14th to 15th which should probably be the launch dates of the new iPhone model.

Update: latest rumors indicate that Apple plans to hold a big event on Tuesday, October 4th to announce those big releases. This is announcement is probably intended to give Apple more time to accept pre orders, almost ten days before the official launch of their new products.
