Apple launches another iPad 2 commercial

Apple isn’t only a marvel of technology, perhaps its greatest miracle is its never ending eruption of marketing powers. Here is another simple but brilliant add coming from Cupertino company, further working on the brand and image of the iPad 2, as it by itself isn’t the best piece of hardware and software available on the global market today. Still Apple isn’t willing to left out any chances to improve the perception of the device.
A new, short but nevertheless impressive commercial launched by Apple depicts iPad 2 as an essential device, a true game changer for everything and anyone. From reading newspapers, listening audio and even watching the stars – your best option is of course the iPad 2. Read your books, listen to your music, watch your movies, again: all on iPad 2. You need to carry your classroom to your favourite bench in the park? No problem!

Sn0wBreeze to jailbreak Apple’s iOS 5 beta

We think there can be hardly a better news for iPhone users than the news of a new jailbreak solution for their devices. Especially so if the Ios to be jailbroken is still in the beta version like the case is with the iOS 5 right now. The person responsible for this news is well known jailbreak developer iH8sn0w, the author of well known and time tested jailbreak solution Sn0wbreeze. Sn0wbreeze has just been updated to version 2.8 which main future is that it’s capable of jailbreaking the new iOS 5 coming from Apple. To remind you, Sn0wbreeze is a jailbreak tool compatible with Windows PC computers.

Facebook ready for launching their official iPad app.

Facebook is working on final testing of their long awaited iPad app and it should soon become available to iPad users. It is not quite clear why it took almost a year since the original iPad was launched for the first time for Mark Zuckerberg and his team to release their app. Apparently according to an unnamed source in the company, they wanted to carefully tailor their product in order to squeeze as much quality and excellence in the UI sphere as possible. Obviously the main goal was to adjust Facebook app to suit well to the touch screen possibilities as well as the mobility of iPad coupled with its photo taking capabilities. Another task for their designers and engineers was complete redesign of the chat options and Facebook groups. The source revealed that the app will differ from the Facebook website and that it will make available full screen images at high resolution. In our opinion this feature alone would be worth enough to get the app.

New iPhone game: Plan battle

Have you ever played battle ships sinking with your school friends instead of doing homework or some other boring choirs? If the answer is yes here is another simple app which are available in iTunes app store.

Plane Battle is actually an iOS version of the famous, ages old game you played long time ago with only paper and pencil. The first level actually looks the same: you will see a piece of paper and a pencil and you will use it as a weapon of destruction. The pen is indeed stronger than a sword, at least in this game!

iPad 2 jailbreak coming soon?

jailbreakme iPad2 jailbreak

Despite often occurring rumors and the fact that it is three months since its initial release, iPad 2 is still proving itself as a too hard nut to crack for the jailbreak developers. One of the reason for this could be the specific architecture of the new processor A5 which Apple is using with the new iPad. Apparently, the Limera1n security hole which enabled successful jailbreak on older iDevices powered by A4 processors couldn’t be modified to jailbreak newer systems running on A5 processors.

Jailbreakme.com has a strange image on it

Late last night JaibreakMe.com was updated with a rather strange image which suggests a possible PDF exploit in the newest iOS5. JailbreakMe has a reputation of offering very simple means of exploiting software directly from within Apple’s Mobile Safari which does not require that you plug you iPhone/iPad directly into your computer.

This looks more like a teaser than anything else which signals that they have probably found a hole relating to PDF. According to @Comex the developer who has added the image on his website says that it signals a black diamond that they have found. This was something they posted via their Twitter page. The Image is Mt. Snow a ski slope which has a black diamond a simple for advanced skiing which has the letters PDF on it.

The New iOS 5 looks to be following JB’s Lead Marketing over its 3G system

Apple looks to have taken its new directive from JB’s community which quite frankly was way ahead of the titans who introduced Cupertino when apple jailbreakers managed to get FaceTime to work on 3G just last year. However Apple has decided to ensure that iOS5 has FaceTime working even in phones which are not jailbroken. This is probably a decision that Apple has made without consulting with major cell phone providers such as AT&T.

Over 200 carriers around the world are now selling iPhones

When you think about the iPhone one of the things that first flashes to mind is the latest iPhone 5 said to hit the streets later this year. However the introduction of the new iPhone has little to do with the overall sales of the iPhone according to Bill Shope an analyst for Goldman Sachs who was recently quoted in the Wall Street Journal’s all Things Digital post. The one big reason behind this is the ever growing number of carriers offering the iPhone.
