Here is another great jailbreak tweak for your iPhone or iPad. KB Shortcuts is one of the most interesting tweaks we have seen lately and it really looks impressive. When you install this jailbreak tweak you can do a predetermined action by swiping your finger on your iPhone’s virtual keyboard. For example you can swipe with your finger from the space bar to the “a” key to highlight all text in your email, or you can use the same swiping motion but this time you swipe from the space bar to the “c” key and it will copy your preselected text. You can also insert the text you have chosen in the settings of this tweak. There are many different things you can do with this smart tweak like: word counting, text navigation, searching and so on. iPhone Dev team releases RedSn0w update

As we are nearing the date of iPhone 5 release, iPhone jailbreak devs are busy preparing a jailbreak for the upcoming iOS 5. Is there any iPhone or iPad user who didn’t hear about jailbreaking and unlocking? It is hard to belive that there are such iOS users. MuscleNerd to change team and go to Apple?

MuscleNerd, one of the main jailbreak developers and a prominent member of iPhone Dev Team @MuscleNerd has caused many rumors by visiting Apple in Cupertino, California. This seems to be a new trend among successful high tech companies worldwide as we have previously seen Facebook recruiting GeoHot and Comex joining Apple as an intern. Will this be the same with MuscleNerd? And can Apple and other big brands simply buyout best jailbreak developers and solve the headaches of jailbreaking with the power of money? One thing is certain without such prolific hackers as MuscleNerd, GeoHot and Comex, iPhone Dev Team and the whole jailbreaking community could become significantly crippled.

RedSn0w jailbreak to undergo a mayor upgrade

Dev Team is preparing a significant upgrade for RedSn0w jailbreaking tool. MuslceNerd who often speaks for iPhone Dev Team said that one of the new features will be that users wont need to manually select the iOS firmware file, another great feature will be the possibility to easily save the always important SHSH blobs with Cydia. New RedSn0w should be seeded before next Monday.

RedSn0w will be able to automatically get the requested files from Apple’s servers, and even better, it will store necessary files on your computer so you wont need to download it every time you need them. This doesn’t include iOS beta version as you will need to get them manually.

Sn0wbreeze is great because it can preserve you current baseband firmware, which is really important if you need to carrier unlock your device. You can also hacktivate your iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS if you don’t have an officially supported Sim Card. After you jailbreak you can also use an Gevey Sim card interposer for the final unlocking or you can use UltraSn0w unlock solution.
