New version of Sn0wBreeze available now, jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 on Windows PC

@iH8Sn0w has just released latest version of Sn0wBreeze for jailbreaking iOS 5.0.1 which was released yesterday. Apple has launched iOS 5.0.1 to solve the battery life bug and fix some other smaller issues and bugs. Sn0wBreeze is a Windows PC only jailbreak solution.

Sn0wBreeze 2.8 beta version 11 now offers these features:

Support for jailbreaking iOS 5.0 and 5.0.1.
Sandbox crashing problems solved.
Location Services bug solved for iPhone 3GS which are using iPad baseband 06.15.00 because of the UltraSn0w unlock.
iPad baseband installation option added again to help iPhone 3GS owners unlock with the UltraSn0w unlock.
Tethered jailbreak using iBooty.

Here is the list of devices which are supported with Sn0wBreeze 2.8. beta 11:

  1. iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (both AT&T and Verizon iPhone).
  2. iPod Touch 3G and 4G.
  3. original iPad.

As you notice Sn0wBreeze cant curently jailbreak iPad 2 and iPhone 4S although we hope that the jailbreak is in works and that it will soon be available.

Please note: if you have iPhone 3GS which was updated to iPad baseband 06.15.00 you need to reflash the same baseband with Sn0wBreeze if you used official iOS 5.0 firmware for the restore. You can download Sn0wBreeze here.
