Dev Team strikes back with jailbreak for iOS 4.3.4

Most famous jailbreak group, the iPhone Dev Team has again succeed in jailbreaking latest Apple’s upgrade to iOS 4.3.4. The jailbreak tool for this iOS version is RedSn0w version 09 8 beta 3. Unfortunately the jailbreak is a this moment only tethered which means that you will have to boot your device up with Redsn0w after every rebooting you do. The only exception for this is iPad 2.

Apple seeds iOS upgrade: iOS 4.3.4 now available

Apple has just seeded the latest release of iOS 4.3.4 in order to patch the security hole used woth JailbreakMe exploit by Comex. If you a frequent reader on our blog you will know that Comex developed the JailbreakMe solution for jailbreaking iOS 4.3.3 and what is most important it works for iPad 2. Until now of course.

So if you need an jailbreak be advised: do NOT upgrade! If you still chose to upgrade, you should be careful and first save the SHSH blobs on your device, so you can downgrade the iOS if something goes wrong for you. You can save SHSH with TinyUmbrella and other tools. Here are instructions for saving SHSH blobs.

Jailbreaking, yes or no

There have been many comments and rumors on the possibility of a new, 3G based over the air update which could completely prevent jailbreaking. Seems that many people do not understood what jailbreaking is about and why it is good for everybody (including Apple) to have this option available.

Microsoft plans to open 75 Microsoft Stores

Microsoft obviously feels deeply threatened by everyday advance Apple makes against all its opponents including themselves, once the dominant superpower in the desktop computing world. So Microsoft has decided to reinvent itself and try some Apple style retail and marketing via 75 new Microsoft Stores. Microsoft plans to open these new stores during the next two or three years. There are also plans for such stores in other countries around the world in an effort to enrich the: Microsoft story, which in our opinion reminds somewhat on Apple’s worldwide success story.

Here is another wonder app for your iPhone now from Nuance. Dragon Go is an iOS app for iPhone which helps you to find what you need with a help of refined cutting edge voice recognition technology. The concept of this app reminds us on Siri a similar product about which we wrote earlier on our blog. AS you perhaps know Siri was bought by Apple and its features are connected to such services like Fandango and Open Table. However the concept of Dragon Go is fabulous just as much as Siri. IT could be what Apple is working on with their Siri purchase and perhaps preparing fro in next iOS upgrades.

Is Apple preparing for earlier launch of iPhone 5?

Apple is apparently staffing its stores with more sales personnel according to latest rumors. This could perhaps signal that they are anticipating an earlier launch for their new iPhone model, the iPhone 5 in August. This news emerged after someone noticed a job offering for sales specialist on a UK based job hunting website called Reed.

The job offering seeks for a full time, experienced sales specialists with extensive experience in Apple products in the period of August to October. The job offer appeared a number of times on the Reed website but every appearance was meant for different areas in UK. The skills asked for where: extensive customer service skills, administrative reporting and great sales experiences. The candidates will have a week long vigorous training session before starting to work.

It seems that iOS 5 b3 for Apple TV has some interesting options available. As some of you perhaps know Apple TV has an so far not activated bluetooth capable chip inside its system. Perhaps this bluetooth chip is intended to be used as a venue for connecting a wireless keyboard into your device? It seems that this bluetooth option is available in the Settings, making it possible to pair up a keyboard with your Apple TV.

iPhone comes to China Telecom in November?

A recent report by Reuters claims that China Telecom and Apple have reached an agreement on providing their users with Apple’s iPhone devices and that iPhones should become available as a choice to China Telecom users in November of this year. Until now Chinese mobile users have being offered iPhone only if they were users of another network, the China Unicom carrier which is a smaller network if compared with China Telecom. China Telecom is a state owned corporation and currently has the highest number of users in the country with more than 890 millions of mobile phone subscribers. The company employs more than 300,000 thousand people and serves as much as 110 million mobile phone users.
