RedSn0w upgraded,Dev Team’s jailbreak now works on iOS 5 beta 7
iPhone Dev Team has again made our day! This time they have released an upgraded version of RedSn0w, one of the best jailbreaking apps available today which is able to easily jailbreak Apple’s latest version of iOS 5 b7. Apple is working at full speed and only a couple of days ago they have seeded iOS 5 beta 6 and now they have again upgraded iOS 5 in order to prepare everything for the final launch which should be this month.
Jailbreak guide: Jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 5 b5 with RedSn0w
If you have already upgraded to iOS 5 despite all warnings from Apple and more experienced users, and your device isn’t blocked by Apple ( we wrote about this issue recently) you can now jailbreak your device as Dev Tream hs just upgraded RedSn0w for this. We can’t explain why or how but it seems that these days RedSn0w is being upgraded as fast as Apple releases iOS 5 beta versions. Congrats to Dev Team!
Advice from jailbreak developers: do not upgrade the firmware to 4.3.5!
Apple has just released its latest iOS upgrade to firmware 4.3.5 which came as a surprise to iPhone and iPad users as much as to jailbreak developers. This update wont be followed by an untethered jailbreak as Apple could repeat the upgrading efforts soon again. SO instead all users wanting an untethered and stable jailbreak should do well if they don’t accept this firmware upgrade.
You can also see the warning coming from Muscle Nerd who often talks for the iPhone Dev Team. Here is the warning in his Twitter stream.
Dev Team strikes back with jailbreak for iOS 4.3.4
Most famous jailbreak group, the iPhone Dev Team has again succeed in jailbreaking latest Apple’s upgrade to iOS 4.3.4. The jailbreak tool for this iOS version is RedSn0w version 09 8 beta 3. Unfortunately the jailbreak is a this moment only tethered which means that you will have to boot your device up with Redsn0w after every rebooting you do. The only exception for this is iPad 2.
Apple’s iOS 5 beta version 3 already jailbroken with RedSn0w!
One of more prominent jailbreak developers known under his twitter pseudonym @MusleNerd has publicly confirmed that his team has been able to jailbreak the latest beta version of the new upcoming iOS 5 vs. 3. This version of iOS 5 has been jailbroken by upgraded version of RedSn0w 0.9.8 b1
So if you need you can easily jailbreak your device running iOS 5 with this latest version of RedSn0w. Keep in mind that this is only an early version of the jailbreak and is intended to be used only by high skilled developers, not average iPhone users. If you decide to jailbreak anyway remember that you must point RedSn0w to iOS 5 beta version 1.
Sn0wBreeze to jailbreak Apple’s iOS 5 beta
We think there can be hardly a better news for iPhone users than the news of a new jailbreak solution for their devices. Especially so if the Ios to be jailbroken is still in the beta version like the case is with the iOS 5 right now. The person responsible for this news is well known jailbreak developer iH8sn0w, the author of well known and time tested jailbreak solution Sn0wbreeze. Sn0wbreeze has just been updated to version 2.8 which main future is that it’s capable of jailbreaking the new iOS 5 coming from Apple. To remind you, Sn0wbreeze is a jailbreak tool compatible with Windows PC computers.

RedSn0w jailbreak (untethered) for iPhone running iOS 4.3.3
Here are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad with updated version of RedSn0w tool. This jailbreak is untethered!
We are happy to say that the new version of the jailbreak was just rolled out to all iPhone users and it uses the same exploit which was used in previous iOS versions (iOS 4.3.1 and 4.3.2). Please note: this jailbreak wont work for iPad 2. CDMA iPhone (Verizon) is not supported with this jailbreak tool. If you own an iPhone 4 Verizon you will need to wait for a new jailbreak software.

Jailbreak instructions:
1. You will need to download the official Apple iOS firmware 4.2.3. You download it here: iOS 4.3.2 for iPhone 3GS and iOS 4.3.2 for iPhone 4 Upgrade your iTunes version to 10.2.2. RedSn0w 0.9.6rc14 untethered jailbreak just released by iPhone Dev Team!
Working really fast and efficiently Dev Team, the famous group of jailbreak developers has upgraded their jailbreaking tool for Windows and Mac. They have incorporated the untethered jailbreak exploit by i0n1c (aka Stefan Esser from Germany) in order to provide jailbreakers with a far more convenient untethered jailbreak. As you remember Apple has quickly upgraded the iOS after the release of the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1. But this time we have been lucky as Apple’s engineers didn’t patch the exploit found by i0n1c and now this exploit has was used to update this new version of the RedSn0w. Result of this is that we have a stable, untethered jailbreak tool. Good work Dev Team and i0n1c!
