Cydia apps: InfiniDock for iPhone upgraded to support iOS 4.3.1

Would you like to have as many icons on your iPhones dock as you want? Well there is a way. You can do just that with the Infinidock app from Cydia. And the app has just been upgraded to be compatible with the 4.3.1 firmware on iPhone and iPad. Basically Infinidock will enable you to customize the usual iPhone dock according to your needs. When you install this tweak you will be able to scroll lef and right on your dock to acces your apps. Please note that no icons will actually be added to your springboard.

How to enable multitasking gestures on iPhone

If you want to add some nice new features like enabling multitasking gestures but don’t want to modify your iPhone OS you can do it now with a nice little Cydia tweak. This tweak will work on your jailbroken iPhone running iOS version 4.3.1.

To get this tweak jailbreak your iPhone if you havent already and open Cydia. In Cydia search for MtGestures app. This app can be found in ModMyi repository. If you dont know how to add repositories into Cydia you can see the instructions here:
When you install the app tap on Winterboard app and select iPhone3,1_4.3.1_Gestures.
You are done! Reboot your iPhone and enable Multitasking Gestures by going to Settings > General Tab

iPhone Cydia apps: iKeyGuard - control the usage of your iPhone

A new interesting app has come under our radar recently. As it is always interesting to increase your iPhone safety we will introduce you to this new Cydia app.

iKeyGuard is basically a key logger, an software application which will record all keyboard input into your device. it is well known in the desktop computing world but mainly for different reasons. For an iPhone or iPad the goal of a keyboard logger is different. If you want to control how your kids or wife use the device you should install this app and it will gather any input into the iPhone or iPad virtual keyboard in any app available on the device. This includes typing email, texting, writing or anything else. If you type an email address, it will be stored, if you send and text message to someone the whole message will be stored.

iPhone jailbreak RedSn0w upgraded to version 09.6.rc11

Top jailbreak group in the iOS world, the famous Dev Team has again upgraded their jailbreaking solution. They have made some small improvements and immediately released the new version of the redSn0w Jailbreak tool: RedSn0w 0.9.6 RC11. RedSn0w jailbreak is available for both Windows and Mac computers. This version introduces a new option: animations for the boot logo so you can customize even this part of your iPhones iOS. RedSn0w can jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Cydia on iOS 4.3.1 - some packages not working?

After the recent Apple iOS upgrade to version 4.3.1 and following the release of jailbreak tools like PwnageTool, RedSn0w and Sn0wBreeze some users had problems with apps on their iPhones and iPads. A number of apps crashed and it seems that the list of app which are not compatible with the upgrade is constantly growing. So far it seems that users using apps relying on software packages like Action Menu and Backgrounder should not upgrade iOS until this is solved.

iPhone Cydia apps: iQuickCall

iQuickCall is a jailbreak app which enables you to use your iPhone with gestures. For example if you often need to call some contact and you are in a hurry you can just make a quick gesture and your iPhone will ring your contact. Or if you are driving your car and cant use your iPhone properly, you can just swipe the screen in a gesture and it will call your contact.

This Cydia app enables you to access your most important contacts with a pre-recorded sweep on the iPhone springboard. You can customize your own gestures and make them easier to use.

Big players interested in Cydia?

Last year US courts have clarified the legality of jailbreak. Many jailbreakers have been exited and happy to see the court has judged the jailbreak to be a legal option. But so far this haven’t changed things much.

Nowadays things seem to change. With more than five million jailbroken iPhones and iPads (according to number of devices using Cydia) this market has been increasingly tempting for for various businesses. As we have written before you can do so with the new iOS 4.3 with AirPlay. But downside of this is that AirPlay will work only with certain apps like Youtube app. But recently some developers have demonstrated their abilty to stream different videos from iPhone to the Apple TV. They claim that it was enough to change a single line of code to make this possible.

Cydia apps: Voice Activator for iPhone

Here is another interesting app which is available only for iPhones with a jailbreak. With this app you can increase the number of already available iPhone voice commands. Now you can do even more things with the help of your voice. This is app is developed by chpwn whose real name is Grant Paul. This app will be available soon and will be available for purchase in the Cydia store. It will enable you to make your own voice commands by typing the words which needs to be said to start some action. iPhone jailbreak apps: Infinifolder

Infinifolder is an app for your iPhone which enables you to have huge (limitless in fact) number of icons on your iPhone.

In iOS you are by default limited to only 12 icons for a folder. This can be improved on by this small app and you can add as many icons to your folders, And when you want to view all icons in a folder you have to only sweep up or down when you are in the folder to see all icons available in that folder.
