MS Office suit coming to your iPad this year?
According to latest iOS app rumors, it seems that Microsoft has finally taken notice of how important the iOS is these days. To catch up, the Windows company plans to release their famous and perhaps best app so far: the ubiquitous Microsoft Office suite. Apparently it should become available for both Android and iOS devices later in November of this year.
Apparently there are already some iPad tablets running MS office, but Microsoft’s spokesperson denied the rumor altogether. It is quite possible that besides iPad, MS office could become available for iPod Touch and iPhone too.
Google to launch Chrome for iPhone and iPad?
The game of cat and mouse between Apple and Google continues. Meanwhile, the search engine behemoth plans to launch their Chrome browser as a probe into the iOS computing ecosystem, or at least this is what the latest tech rumors claim. According to some sources, Apple is perhaps already reviewing Google’s popular web browser for entry into the App Store. Why is this something Google wants besides claiming the superiority of their products like Android, Gmail, Chrome and so on? Well the reason is simple enough. Google is forced to share its annual advertising revenues, which is about $1 billion with Apple, because of the amount of web searches which are coming trough Apple’s own Safari web browser.
Apple will give you an iPhone 4S as a replacement for a faulty iPhone 4!
Due to fast change of production lines in Apple’s manufacturing plants, iPhone 4 became a device increasingly harder to find. This is probably the only reason Apple is pushing iPhone 4S as a replacement device for somewhat inferior iPhone 4 models. Earlier this year, White iPhone 4 devices have been replaced in a such manner, now it’s the same situation with iPhone 4 Black 16 GB and 32GB.
Apple working on iTunes 11 and iOS 6
Apple’s developers are currently busy working on integration of iTunes with iOS 6 support which will among other things, have better iCloud compatibility. This new version of iTunes will need to be fully compatible with the upcoming iOS 6 version and with the new devices which are currently in development, like iPhone 5. Historically, Apple has always introduced a new iOS version whenever a mayor product was launched, like for example when they launched iPhone 4S and iOS 5 at the same time. Still, despite the fact that iTunes is developed as being iOS 6 specific app, it will probably be released later than iOS 6. One thing is sure: Tim Cook and his team can easily launch an updated version of iTunes 10.x to get the much needed compatibility for iOS 6 on time, if the iTunes 11 is not ready until fall.
iPhone tweaks: TouchPose
Here is another small, yet potentially quite useful tweak for your iPhone. We are sure this isn’t a tweak which will be widely popular, but for a specific group of users like app developers and serious Youtube video editors, it could prove itself as a quite handy tool. The point of TouchPose is that it shows the exact place you have touched first on your screen. Which is a nice thing to work, with if you need to demonstrate some app or cool new iOS game on your iPhone.
Wi-Fi issues with the new iPad
Did you have Wi-fi connectivity issues with your new iPad tablet? If the answer is yes, you just one more among a growing number of iPad users with such a problem. According to numerous reports, many new iPad users have complained at Apple Stores and in Apple’s online support forums. It seems that Apple is vigorously investigating the whole Wi-Fi issue, which is confirmed by a leaked internal document which requires Apple Store employees to send problematic devices to Apple for further examination and replacement.
Third of American high school students using iPhone
Here is another interesting research showing how much popular iPhone really is in US, especially among the younger population. Gene Munster of Apple, has released a research paper revealing Apple’s findings about widespread use of iPhone in US schools. The research is based on a 6 month long survey among high school teenagers, where more than 5000 students were asked about their preferences and choices when it comes to smartphones.

Repositories are servers accessible online, offering a large number of iOS apps and tweaks for iPhone users. Besides apps and tweaks these repos also offer other useful stuff like ringtones, wallpapers and much more. Here is the top five list of the best repositories you can use to improve your iPhone or iPad.
iPhone 4S activation error – how to fix it [AT&T]
Whenever you want to activate your iPhone, it will have to connect to servers of your official network carrier, which in this case means the ubiquitous AT&T network. And when a large number of users tries to do the same thing at the same time, it can quickly overwhelm their activation servers, which is the problem many new iPhone 4S users have experienced recently. The message that keeps popping up was: ‘Could not activate the iPhone’. The note further explains the problem and points to the solution: you had a problem connecting with your new device to their servers, so you should try it again later.
iPhone 5 Release date this summer
Apple is working around the clock, even after they have recently released the iPad 3. According to the rumor mill, Apple plans to finally launch the iPhone 5 this summer, most probably at the beginning of June. We are sure this will push Apple’s already high stocks to rise, even more than they did immediately after new iPad’s release. So far, no reliable informations are available on the possible next version of iOS, the iOS 6, but historically, Apple always released a new iOS version with each major hardware product. Sources inside Apple’s Chinese manufacturing partner, Foxconn, claim that they are in a hiring frenzy, as the release date and predicted sales of iPhone 5 will demand a huge rise in their assembling capacities.
