Sn0wBreeze 4.2.1 jailbreak instructions

Please update your iTunes version to latest 10.1.2

Sync your device and make a backup of all your data on the iPhone.

Download the latest iOS firmware version 4.2.1 and save it in a folder on your computer.

Download Sn0wBreeze 4.2.1 and start it up on your PC.

Please install .Net framework on your computer. You can download it from the Microsoft website.

When Sn0wBreeze starts click on the “Expert Mode” option.

Point to the 4.2.1 IPSW file you have previously downloaded

If you need to activate your iPhone choose the option “Activate iPhone”. It will activate your device.

Now choose the “build IPSW” option and wait for the Sn0wBreeze to make the custom firmware .

When this is finished you can simply Restore your iPhone with this custom firmware.

Fire up iTunes and on your keyboard press and hold shift and click on the Restore option in iTunes.

It will ask for the firmware file and you can now point to the custom firmware version you have built with Sn0wBreeze. Itunes will now restore your iPhone. After this your iPhone will reboot.

You have now a jailbroken iPhone with your baseband preserved.
