So here are some rumors on the new and upcoming iOS devices. Apparently the most rumored feature of a next generation iPhone, could be its increased screen size. According to the latest rumors, Tim Cook and his team are preparing at least two new prototypes of this device.
Untethered jailbreak for iPhone on 5.1.1 firmware [video]
Someone has just posted the video with a demonstration of the latest jailbreak for the latest iOS 5.1.1 firmware version. Finally this jailbreak is an untethered version. This time it represents basically an updated version of Absinthe jailbreak tool, version 2.0.
Absinthe 2.0 was tested on an iPhone 4 upgraded to 5.1.1 firmware. The jailbreak went smoothly and the recorded video is a proof that the jailbreak really works as promised. Dev Team members have announced the public release of the jailbreak in a couple of days. Meanwhile you can see the video of Absinthe 2.0 in action.

Here is another interesting research showing how much popular iPhone really is in US, especially among the younger population. Gene Munster of Apple, has released a research paper revealing Apple’s findings about widespread use of iPhone in US schools. The research is based on a 6 month long survey among high school teenagers, where more than 5000 students were asked about their preferences and choices when it comes to smartphones.
