Amazon working on new smartphone
According to the latest rumors in smartphone industry, Jeff Bezos and his team of designers and engineers are apparently working on a smartphone device of their own. Apart from releasing an Android tablet, the Kindle Fire, Amazon wants to further tap into the mobile computing market by building their own smartphone. This device is built with assistance from Foxconn, and should become an affordable alternative to Apple’s iPhone.
Google launches Google Music
Google has today announced the release of their latest service which could become quite a useful service for Android users. Google Music will enable users on Andpoird smartphones and tablets to browse, purchase, and share their audio content.
According to their statement, this brand new service will help users to enjoy more time in listening their audio files and less in managing it. Every song you purchase will be synced automatically and therefore available on all of your devices. So you wont need to worry about hard disk space, cables or similar things. You only need to connect your device and it will sync your music files to your computers, tablets and smartphones. You can even select which songs you want to listen before you go offline, so it becomes available on your device without wasting your expensive data connection.
Netflix refreshing their iPad app with improved UI and aditional content
Netflix has finally decided to redesign their Netflix iPad app at the same time with the upgrade of the same app for Android tablets, which includes Amazons Kindle Fire tablet and Barnes and Noble Nook tablet.
According to the statement of Zal Bilimoria, who is the manager of mobile products for Netflix, they have created a completely different user experience which is now much more immersive and helps users to choose among a significantly larger offer of titles in their catalog. The new catalog which comes with the upgrade offers as many as twice more different shows and movies, than what was available before. This upgrade also features a significant improvement in using iPad specific features. So now you can easily swipe through different rows of movies and shows represented with larger and better looking icons.

Apple is quite a unique company and one of their basic strategies which proved extremely successful so far was to provide customer experience from the beginning to the end. Amazon works on a Siri competitor
Amazon obviously sees Apple as a strong competitor, which isn’t that strange after all since we see Apple turning into a strong content provider with their App Store and iTunes. Amazon has obviously recognized the fact that Siri is a changing point, perhaps as much as touch screen was only a couple of years ago. iCloud introduces “Drop Box” like syncing for Mac users
It seems that iCloud will enable “Drop Box” like document sharing for Mobile Documents. Short exploration of / Library directory reveals that it contains a Mobile Documents folder . This folder will be probably used for syncing your documents created with iWork. Another great news is that this wont be restricted to iWorks docs anymore, especially if you need to access files only across your Mac computers.
Hulu Plus comes to Apple TV?
The app for Hulu Plus is already made and works perfectly for Apple TV. All features are working as expected and Apple has prepared everything except one important issue. It seems that now Apple is evaluating the need for this app and that some factions inside the company actually oppose the release of this app.
