iPhone 5 and iOS 5 rumors

iOS 5 and iPhone 5

Many hardcore Apple fans have been kind of disappointed when Apple didn’t relieve anything about the upcoming iOS 5 on the recent iPad 2 launching event. It is expected that iOS 5 would be a completely redesigned and re engineered OS with heavy emphasis on cloud services.

The reason is probably that Apple is still far away from finishing it and they will simply need much more time than expected. Reliable sources in Cupertino California based company have revealed that the iOS 5 wouldn’t see the daylight before late fall.
If it really plays out like this, it will mean that Apple is breaking their usual pattern of iOS launching in early spring followed by release of a new iPhone model.

When this didn’t happen many analysts concluded that there will be another event in early April where Apple will reveal iOS 5 but apparently this wont happen neither.

But its not that everything is dark and gloomy. Here are some good things:

- iOS 5 will be launched in fall and it will be a major change.

- The new iOS will probably be released together with a new model of iPad.

- iOS 5 will be deeply integrated with could based services including some new music services.

- New social networking capabilities will be an essential part of those cloud services.

- Additionally there will also be news on new Mac OS X Lion which should be released in the summer.

But what about iPhone 5?

Again, Apple’s usual pattern of product releases was to launch a new iPhone model together with the new iOS. This time things are different and it seems that we will need to wait for fall to see this new iPhone 5.

We can only wait and see what happens next.

In the meantime we can enjoy in our iPhones and iPads.
