@Notcom has updated his excellent iOS tool TinyUmbrella in order to make it compatible with latest Apple iOS release which is the iOS 4.3.5. This version of the tool can also upgrade iPhone 4 baseband version. The numerical designation of this release of TinyUmbrella is 5.00.07 and it offers you to choose whether you need to upgrade your iPhone’s baseband or not.

Please note before you start using TinyUmbrella:

1. If you check the appropriate checkbox it WILL update your devices baseband version.

2. If you need to restore your iPhone, the firmware you want to install has to have the same baseband version as the version Apple signs currently. If this isn’t the case you will get error 1394 or similar.

3. @Notcom, the developer behind TinyUmbrella is working on a software tool that could make a kind of custom firmware which could mix the new baseband version and an older firmware version.

TinyUmbrella can be downloaded from @Notcom’s website at thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com.
