Google + submitted to App Store!

Google+ for iOS

Google + the latest Google product which should redeem Google’s position in social networking world now completely dominated by Facebook and Twitter has being submitted as an app to Apple’s App Store. This app is already available on the Google’s website as an web app and also in Android Market.

The news was announced by a member of Google’s team Erica Joy, who wrote this on her page. Surely this doesn’t come as a too big of surprise as the number of iPhone users in US is exceedingly high, but the pace at which Google wants to tap into the iOS market is surprising. If past experience is correct the approval process for Google + shouldn’t last longer than 10 to 15 days.

So far Google + is still not completely open and is still in testing phase so you wont be able to access it if you don’t have an invitation. But according to the growing buzz online it has become a mayor topic in many online conversations. It certainly looks interesting, especially the circle feature which enables you to organize your friends into different groups but still it will have to fight an uphill battle against Facebook which already serves the same market and hosts millions of users worldwide. Besides, Facebook will certainly shoot back very fast.

Mark Zuckerberg already announced a acouple of days ago that Facebook prepares to launch an exiting new product very soon. Probably something that will counteract Google’s actions and try to focus global attention back to his company’s social network. What do you think? Will Google + become a Facebok killer? While it looks promising, we think Facebook is here to stay at least for the time being. Let us know your opinion in the comments bellow!
