JailbreakMe jailbreak for iOS 4.3 coming soon?

Recently we have read reports from various sources that a new jailbreak tool for jailbreaking new Apple iOS 4.3 is under way. The developer of this unlock is an known jailbreak developer @Comex who is best known for his JailbreakMe website. In fact this should be a renewed JailbreakMe website based jailbreak solution. This rumor comes from exchange of Twitter messages between @Comex and some users.

Comex responded to inquires about his demo on iPad 2 jailbreak and the possible release of the jailbreak. He explained that he needs some time to pack the jailbreak solution into a finished jailbreak tool.

According to the hint form this Twitter conversation and earlier experiences with solutions coming from Comex, this new jailbreak wont make it to the public before he has solved all bugs and problems and until the jailbreak tool isn’t completely finished and ready for the jailbreakers worldwide.

There are no details known about the nature of the jailbreak and which exploit exactly it uses.

It could be the “userland” exploit or kernel based exploit. If the exploit is the “userland” this could mean that the new jailbreak could work similar to Jailbreak Me which did a great job jailbreaking iPhones 3GS 3G and iPhone 4 with the iOS 4.0

As Comex has in a video demonstrated his jailbreak on the new iPad 2 tablet it can be assumed that the jailbreak will also work on this device. As most of you probably know iPhone 3G is not supported by Apple anymore so no firmware updates for iPhone 3G.

There is nothing else to do but wait patiently for this new jailbreak solution for iOS 4.3 which will hopefully be an untethered solution. Stay tuned and we will try to inform you about all new developments in the jailbreaking and unlocking world.
