Sn0wbreeze updated to jailbreak iPhone 4 Verizon 4.2.7

Verizon iPhone jailbreak Sn0wBreeze 2.6.1

Famous jailbreak developer ih8sn0w has just released his new updated version of the Sn0wbreeze jailbreak tool version 2.6.1 which is an untethered jailbreak. Untethered jailbreak means that after you reboot your iPhone it stays jailbroken while if it is tethered jailbreak you need to boot into the jailbreak state every time you restart your iPhone or other iDevice.

Ih8sn0w stated in a twitter message that he become aware of the fact that there was no untethered jailbreak available for Verizon iPhone. He also stated that he wasn’t able to provide the jailbreak earlier as he was sick. While the exploit for untethered jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 by Stefan Esser (@i0n1c) was available, it was too complicated solution to be implemented. So he tested another exploit developed previously by @posixninja and luckily, found out that the exploit was still available in the 4.2.7 firmware. So he was finally able to provide a new untethered jailbreak for all jailbreakers with iPhone 4 Verzion on 4.2.7 iOS firmware. To jailbreak with this tool just download the requested files and proceed with the jailbreak. If you are not sure how to proceed you can see instructions for Sn0wbreeze jailbreak for iOS 4.3.2 here.
