iPhone tips: find your apps with Spotlight
If you are an passionate iPhone user you will quickly download and install a bunch of apps, and the number of apps will rise continuously. If you have already downloaded more than lets say 100 apps, it will become more and more complicated for you to navigate through all these apps when you want to find some needed. For searching data on your iPhone you will need to use Spotlight which is the default iOS search application. The problem is that Spotlight will present you with search results that include your text messages, emails, contacts and many other stuff which makes it much more complicated to locate the app you want to find. But with this tip you will find apps with Spotlight much easier.
In order to tweak Spotlight tap on Settings > General > Spotlight Search. Select which settings are important and which are cluttering your search results. If you want to find apps quickly you could disable all except Apps. There is another trick: you could just simply move the Apps category and place it on the top. This way when you search for something you will see app pointing search results at the top of the search results list. To move the App category to the top move the bar on the right hand side and slide it to the top.
