New TinyUmbrella for iOS 4.2.1 available

The guy behind the famous Tiny Umbrella tool known as Notcom, has announced on the social network Twitter about the upgraded version of the software.

The current version is 4.21.07 and it will enable iPhone, iPad and iPod users to save their shsh on their respective devices. It works for the 4.2.1 firmware version.
In his own words: “Updated 4.21.07. I’ve forgotten iPad in the 4.3b3 list XD. Don’t update unless you have iPad and want 4.3b3 shshs.”

He has also removed some bugs known from the previous versions of the software.

This is excellent news for many iPhone users as this great tool enables users to downgrade the firmware version if they encounter any problem or for any other reason. If you are on 4.2.1 and you find out that your iPhone 3G works too slow TinyUmbrella will help you to downgrade to previous firmware version.

To downgrade you must have saved shsh blobs.
