Voice Notifications app from Cydia

The newest tweak coming from a developer nicknamed infectionFX (aka Tyler Nettleton) is a jailbreak app branded as Voice Notifications. This app is designed with the goal to make the iPhone talk to you. With this app when you receive an SMS, call or get an email you will hear a voice notifying you about the event. You can choose and personalize what will the voice say to you. There wont be an icon on your sprinboard for this app. This is so because the developer wanted to preserve the space on your screen for your other, more important apps.

You can personalise your settings for this app in the Settings app (also available with Cydia).

This smart little app will also support your black listings.

Voice Notifications works for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch. Your iPhone needs to be on at least the iOS 4.0 or higher firmware version. You can download this app from the Cydia store for a ridiculously small fee of $0.99

Please note: this app wont work for iPhone 3G, and you must jailbrake before you can install this app.
