iPhone games: Infinity Blade 2
Infinity Blade 2 is a brilliant new game for iPhone. It definitely represents a large improvement over the original game, because of many new layers in the game environment and different new characters.
At the beginning of the game you will enjoy in a peaceful scene of an oriental garden with a beautifully fountain containing gold fishes. But don’t relax yet, as cruel, iron armoured monsters are lurking from the shadows, waiting to tear you apart. Game design stays in the same style as the original game but with many new touches and amazing details. There are plenty of interesting little details where ever you look at, and your enemies are now much bigger and more complex. The game story itself makes more sense, as the game story is written by someone who obviously knows his trade. As in the original game you will walk around the fortress trying to find out what is going on.
The combat mode is also improved and somewhat tweaked. The level of dodging in a close combat is shown in your endurance bar. If you dodge too frequently, you will suffer from damage. Your parries will look more accurate and you will see a new feature called weapon gems. These gems will modify your weapons and increase the damage level of your sword. You can make in app purchases and get weapon improvements and keep in mind that having better arms is a key to long term survival in this game. The more times you get reincarnated the more powerful your opponents became. You can now wield two swords or use heavier weapons.
Monsters you fight against look really awesome, but are also much harder to defeat as they use different tricks and various combinations of blows against you. The game is based on the Unreal 3 engine and coupled with fabulous hardware of your iPhone or iPad, Infinity Blade 2 demonstrates how good game platform iOS devices are really. Infinity blade 2 is available as a download in Apple’s app store and the price for this excellent game is $6.99.
