This worked right away. the problem is that i was trying to make the changes on the newer iphone from 2.0. the phone had to be downgraded from 2.0 to 1.1.4 and then the 2.0 upgrade that you had provided did the change in few minutes. I guess it wasn't clear to me that the downgrade had to happen first before this process worked. thanks. I am now on 2.0 cheers.
